Welcome.

Our goal is to provide outstanding education and life changing opportunities for all our children. We are part of CHAT Academies, established in 2010. CHAT currently runs 5 academies in North London, educating some 2,200 pupils.

We hope you will find all the information you need here to make a direct application to us. If not, please give the school office a call. They will be very happy to help.

Nursery Admissions 2018-2019

Applying for a Nursery place in September 2018:

Cuckoo Hall Academy offer part time and full time places in nursery. All families are eligible for free part time places (15 hours for 38 weeks).  Some families will be eligible for free full time day care (30 hours for 38 weeks).

Parents will need to meet the following national criteria in order to be eligible for 30 hours free childcare. You can check free full time day care eligibility here.

The Trust is responsible for the admission of pupils in to nursery classes at Cuckoo Hall Academy. After the admission of pupils with a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Statement or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) which names the Academy, the Trust uses the specific criteria to decide which children should be offered places.

If there are fewer applications for the Nursery classes than there are places available, everyone is offered a place.

Please note that having a place in our nursery does not guarantee admission to the academy's reception class. A separate application must be made for a reception place.

If you wish to apply for a place in nursery and your child was born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015 you will need to complete a Nursery Application Form and directly submit the application to our school office for the September intake.

If your child is born 1 August 2015 and 31 December 2015, then they will be eligible for the January 2019 intake. Please follow the same application as above. The school office will be happy to answer queries.
