Executive Assistant (EA) to Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate

Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust (C.H.A.T.) is the Charitable Trust set up to run and manage four Primary and one Secondary Academies serving approximately 2500 children. Based in Enfield we are focused on driving up the quality of education provision and standards.
We are recruiting a highly qualified and experienced EA to support the busy role of CEO in our growing Multi Academy Trust.
You will sit as part of the central services team who currently support five Academies. Excellent communication skills are needed to liaise between a range of parties from the Trust board members, parents, governors, staff and pupils to organising timetables, arranging meetings and meeting statutory obligations with organisations such as Department for Education (DfE), Education for All (EFA), Ofsted and Local Authority.
The CEO will require you to prioritise the day ensuring that all correspondence, documentation, queries, invitations and meetings are being dealt with efficiently and effectively. As the EA you will deliver high quality administration and secretarial support including managing a complicated diary, taking minutes, hospitality, arranging travel, gathering and organising relevant paperwork and data for the CEO. You will need to be able to plan ahead, be very well organised and efficient to ensure you keep to strict, often conflicting deadlines and work as part of the wider team.
You will be dealing with information of a highly confidential nature, and will need to be trustworthy and discreet. You will be used to working your own initiative and be proactive in getting tasks done promptly, whilst being adaptable to keep up with the unpredictable nature of the workload where demands change constantly. You will need to be flexible and with the ability to adjust priorities - often at the last minute.
You will need to be computer literate to a high standard with the ability to design data sheets, reports and carry out research on behalf of the CEO and wider team.
You will have a flexible worth ethic that will allow you to fully support the needs of this demanding role which may, on occasion, include out of hours support for official meetings.
This high level support contributes to the life chances of our children so you will need to be passionate about education and delivering a professional service, you will therefore need a good understanding about your role within the Trust.
